But when I try to take a picture, it ALWAYS uses flash if it's only a tiny bit dark. for instance, I wanted to take a pic of a horse I ride in his stall. The stall is well lit up...but it flashed anyways and the horse spooked.

How do I turn the flash off, and on?

I will go to vocation in a few days, and wanna order this camera right now. But not sure whether it comes with the flash memory. If no, I need to order a memory now, since I will go to vocation soon, no time to wait for camera and check whether it has flash memory or not. If it comes with flash memory, then I don;t wanna waste money to order the flash memory.
